Although the show definitely performed well during its original run, the years of repeats managed to establish an audience that hadn’t been around during the ‘60s. The showrunners didn’t want fans knowing that this was why their favorite series was over. The group was founded by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) members Andy McCluskey, and Stuart Kershaw, who served as principal songwriters during Atomic Kitten's early years. Unbeknownst to viewers, there was drama happening away from the cameras that caused the show to go downhill. Atomic Kitten is a British pop girl group formed in Liverpool in 1998, whose current members are Liz McClarnon, Jenny Frost and Natasha Hamilton. In a couple of cases, it was the goings-on behind the scenes that led to their demise. The reason they got canceled varied greatly, with several failing to meet ratings expectations while others just reached a natural conclusion. We’ve seen plenty of great series come and go over the years, some of which definitely went off the air before their time.
Even long-running programs like ‘The Simpsons’ will finish at some point, despite seeming like they’re indestructible. While we wish that some of our favorite TV shows would stick around forever, they all have to end eventually.
